• STRUCTO-LITE Basecoat is USG's lightest and most highly insulated basecoat plaster It provides a plastic working material that conforms to various designs, helping achieve durability in walls and ceilings. It weighs half as much as sanded basecoat plaster and is perfect for locations where an aggregate is unavailable.


• The mill-mixed, perlite-aggregate gypsum plaster requires only the addition of water at the jobsite. It applies quickly and easily by hand or machine on gypsum or metal lath, clay tile, concrete, cinder blocks, and other approved plaster bases.


• The basecoat provides thermal conductivity. Its strong insulation properties provide a K factor (a measure of heat conductivity of a particular material) of 1.74, three times the insulation value of sanded plaster.
